Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Home Health

Schedule

Part-time hours, paid per visit.

What you'll do

• Provide physical therapy services at the direction of the treating physical therapist and according to the plan of care
• Take part in ongoing interdisciplinary assessment of the patient
• Help the physical therapist document the patient's progress and response to treatment
• Complete timely, accurate documentation of treatment and the patient's progress toward goals
• Counsel and educate the patient, family and caregivers to promote progress toward goals
• Communicate with the care team to coordinate care and plan for discharge

What you need

• Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the State of Michigan
• At least 2 years of experience as a PTA within the last 5 years
• Current CPR certification
• Home health experience a plus
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license and current auto insurance
